BaRAS’s Andy King and Andrew Townsend gave a presentation on Construction and the Archaeological Process at the Union Jack Club, London, on 10th May 2012.

The event was organised by the Chartered Institute of Building’s Sustainability Strategy Group, chaired by Emma Nicholson FCIOB CEnv, and well attended by professionals from the property and construction sectors.

Andrew Townsend spoke about the policy and legislative background of commercial archaeology while Andy King spoke about various aspects of site-based work, including issues surrounding human burials.
