BaRAS co-hosted a CPD workshop on Health & Safety at this year’s Institute for Archaeologists (IfA) Annual Conference & Training Event, held at Oxford Town Hall, 18–20th April 2012.

As part of the workshop, BaRAS Project Officer and CIOB Ambassador Andrew Townsend gave a presentation titled The Management of Health & Safety on Historic Environment Projects: Raising the Bar and Meeting New Challenges.

Andrew was also requested by the IfA to stand in at the After Southport: The Road to Public Benefits session where he spoke about the relationship between the construction industry and historic environment sector.
